Shelter Neck Men's Octoberfest Weekend Announcement

***Please pass the following Shelter Neck Men's Octoberfest Weekend Retreat announcement out to men in your congregation who may be interested. The UUF of Wilmington ROMEO Group are planning and hosting the weekend and wanted to invite men from the other UU churches.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Who: Many of the ROMEOs of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Wilmington expressed the desire to participate in a men's outing. Several of the members got together and designed this event. It was decided to invite any "UCONCI" adult male members and adult male friends to attend. Not necessarily retired. (for those of you who don't know, ROMEOs stands for"Retired Old Men Eating Out")

What: Shelter Neck UUFW Men's Octoberfest Retreat

When: The weekend of October 24, 25, 26.

Where: at Shelter Neck UU Camp near Burgaw, NC .

Why: We all love music, and we all have an adult - parent - child inside.
We don't dare act like a child in front of our kids.
And God forbid you let the seat up after you pee.
Lord also knows we parent the world daily.
Time to take a load off! Let the seat up! Relax. Enjoy life!
Dust off your child, take a deep breath and let him play for a weekend.
