UU CONNECTIONS: A Work-Play Halloween Weekend

October 30- November 1, 2009

    Objectives: To connect with UU’s from other churches     
through work and play!
To nurture our historic UU Conference facility!gardeningFor over 80 years UUs have been coming together to preserve this historic facility owned and operated by UCONCI, renewing old friendships, making new ones, and having fun!

Who is invited? UUs of all ages!!! This is truly intergenerational!!

When? It begins Saturday, October 30, 2009 at 8:30 am with coffee, fruit and bagels
and ends on Sunday, November 1, 2009 around 3 p.m.
Come for part of the time or come for the entire time.

What work will be done?  WHO?
Skilled facilitators will be on hand to assist as well as teach participants how to do the tasks.
        *Window repair –Adults!
        * Cleaning -All ages!
        * Plumbing repair –Adults!
        *  Install and paint paneling in Dix House-All ages         ~especially TEENS!!!!!
        * Garden-Truly Intergenerational! Very Kid Friendly!!!
        * Sew curtains – Intergenerational!
        * Washing sheets and curtains- Intergenerational!

Cost? FREE (donation of salads, deserts, fruit and bread welcome)

Fun? Saturday evening festivities will include sharing talent and a bonfire. Prepare for a Spooky Halloween (kid friendly)!!!!!!
