Our Mission

Shelter Neck Youth Camp aims to connect youth from small, mid-size, and large Unitarian Universalist congregations across eastern and central North Carolina in a cohesive, energetic and thriving community.

Shelter Neck Youth Camp is made possible by the generous support of the Universalist Convention of North Carolina, Inc. (UCONCI). UCONCI was first organized in 1895 to promote the coordinated growth of Universalism and now Unitarian Universalism in North Carolina. UCONCI has owned and maintained Shelter Neck's forty acres since 1932.

Also, we thank the Unitarian Universalist Funding Program for giving UCONCI a generous grant to help with Youth Camp staff salaries.

Shelter Neck Youth Camp - 2014 Registration

NOTE - Each session has a limited number of  spaces available, with priority given for the month of March to those youth from UCONCI member congregations and SNC alumni campers.

Registration

To register for camp, please download below, print out and mail a registration packet before May 1st. Registration is first come, first served, with a few spots reserved specifically for youth from smaller congregations. Your completed registration packet should include:

Applicants to the Youth Leadership Retreat must complete all forms above as well as an application and questionnaire available HERE
